Two useful phrases

Just recently I’ve noticed two phrases that can really come in handy when working with other people.

Random

Listening more closely to the dialog in Scrubs, I’ve observed that Dr. Kelso always addresses the people around him with:

You, random nurse.

I just have to use that in my projects:

Hey you, random Project Manager. Go buy some snacks…

Don’t let the door…

Watching the movie Knocked Up, which isn’t really an outstanding movie (except for the very hot leading actress), I learnt a great phase to annoy men who think they are very macho and manly:

Don’t let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out.

This is a wonderful and efficient way to provoke someone, if you find that they deserve it!

regarding Scrubs…. If I can't reach a colleague in the office, I now started doing "mental five's" and snap my fingers with that person…

I don't normally watch scrubs but the few episodes I have seen are always funny and knocked up wasn't as funny as it looked like it was going to be but, that quote is classic.

Seems every guy's got some kinda of quote for a whiny buddy of his. One my buddies have thrown around over the years is very similar to that one… "Somebody get this whiny b***h a Tylenol, his vagina hurts."

    Gotta love your buddies!

  • The second quote is an absolute clasic, love it!

Last nights episode of How I met your mother had a fantastic line from Mandy Moore, who was guest starring. She had been picking on Barney, and one of her one liners was really good. I certainly don't remember word for word, but had something to do with "are your pants too tight to fit your enormous vagina?"

  • Steven Clark says:

nope I reckon the vagina line will offend women too, Robert. πŸ™‚

Heh, I love Scrubs. There's some great quotes and phrases you can take from that show. I especially like "bajingo" and "Take your blah-blah to the Blah-Blah-ologist". πŸ™‚

  • Calophi says:

Oh yeah, and "In YOUR endo!" The Todd is one of the best characters ever written. XD

    You are never alone! πŸ™‚

    Scott,

    Amongst friends, everything's ok! πŸ™‚

    Stuart,

Yes, I was a bit (pleasantly )surprised when I heard it in the movie.

    Jeff,

Another variation on the theme. πŸ™‚

    Steven,

    Ha ha! Yeah, you're right!

    Calophi,

    Yes, it's a great show!
