I’m a keynote speaker at the P2P Conference in Bulgaria April 24-25

In two weeks from now, April 24th – 25th, I’ll be going to Bulgaria to be one of the keynote speakers at the P2P Conference (in Bulgarian).

To me, it’s very exciting to be able to Bulgaria, because I have never been there before and I’ quite looking forward to it. The conference will be held in Veliko Tarnovo, an old city with lots of history. I will be talking about JavaScript in general and also about HTML5 and some of its exciting APIs, and the talk is entitled JavaScript & HTML5 – Brave New World.

The other keynote speakers are Michael Monty Widenius, Patrick Finch and Jérémie Zimmermann. I don’t know that much about Jérémie, but everyone probably knows about Monty and his work with MySQL and then MariaSQL, and it will be an honor to share the stage with him.

Patrick is the European Marketing Manager of Mozilla and a good friend of mine, and I’m happy he will be there too. Patrick, albeit English, lives in Sweden, so I had hoped for some company traveling there and back, but unfortunately he’ll be flying all the way from California to the conference, and on the way home, we have different flights… However, it looks like we will be sharing an interesting bus ride, and hotel room, in Bulgaria. 🙂

So, all I have to do now is put my presentation together then. 🙂
