Apple releases
Goodie! New releases from Apple! I’m always intrigued with what they will come up with. The two new gadgets are:
- iPod nano
- Looks really nice! And tiny! I haven’t compared them size-wise yet, but I guess iPod shuffle owners feel pretty ripped off right now.
- iPhone
- Hmm… Well, it doesn’t look good, does it? I wonder if this is just a way to sell even more songs through the iTunes Music Store? Anyway, I guess this guy feels a little bit stupid now. 🙂
I *recently* (a few months ago) bought a 1gb shuffle and wouldn't trade for the admittedly funky *nano* so not feeling ripped off 🙂
Reason being my collection will only fit on an ipod 40gb (which is too expensve for me to justify) so I'm happier picking a 1gb playlist that I rotate from time to time. The lack of screen isn't an issue for me – the miniscule size, great battery life and light weight are.
The *nano* has to drive a screen, so I'm sure battery life will suffer. And it looks wider. Probably change my mind when Apple launches *nano* 60gb though… 😉

I think the Nano is one totally impressive piece of hardware, plain and simple. And I love the black version. Mmmm.
But my 30gb iPod Photo will do just nicely for now 😉
