Customer care, the hard way
The other night we had a company meeting outlining our new organization.
Our CEO presented a chart over our organization with all different parts, to show us what company structure we aim to evolve into. Taking a closer look, though, I discovered this interesting part:
Customer care (S & M)
Really? Personally I think it’s a great depiction of that customer care is all about, but not really the most suitable abbreviation, right? π
Apparently it stands for Sales & Marketing, but at least for me, that wasn’t the first association. They’ll probably change this soon…
However, after that in one of the presentations they were describing customer relations, and how important it is to distinguish the pleasure/pain factor. Are you kidding me?! With what was mentioned above, I’m starting to see a worrying pattern here… π
It reminds me of the flickr pool of company names which should never have happened – ANALTECH kind of stuck in my mind.
Hahahahahahaha
You are a very sick person Robert, and that's why we love you! π
Having worked tech support for over 4 years….I actually think that may be right on the money.
Glad you liked it!
Steven,
That's just an outstanding name!
Joachim,
I'm glad I'm not alone with this sense of humor, though. π
Ryan,
Ha ha ha! π
