Four years
Not exactly today, but about a month ago marked my four-year anniversary as a blogger.
I could get all nostalgic, bring up lots of things I’ve written about and link-bomb all day. But I won’t. Let me just say that I’m very happy I started blogging, because I have gotten in contact with so many fantastic people, it has given me lots of opportunities and it has literally improved my life a lot!
In these four years, I have written 669 blog posts and gotten 17 342 comments. Not too shabby.
And, I have only been threatened to be sued once (don’t ask. really.), so I guess it’s all ok.
My sincere thanks to your for reading, and I hope we can continue to help and inspire each other in the future.
Here’s to four more years (at least!)!

Good having your site floating around the web that long.
Now for the real point of this comment: come on then, what was the threat for? You can’t go put out something like that without expecting instant questions!

Congratulations!
!
You produce great content, which is something not every blogger does!
Keep it up
Cheers!

Great! Keep up the good work. I’ve followed you since whenever you had that sterile blue(?) design – the one before the easter-island-design I think Hehe. You’re actually one of the reasons I started writing myself
Cheers for the four years to come!

I’ve written three blog posts, have no comments at all but have already gotten a (poorly written and totally out-of-the-blue-) threat of being sued.

Congrats!
I’ve always dug your articles, and you always provide interesting comments on interesting subjects.
Keep up the good work
Now, formalities out of the way, what did you almost get sued for?

Keep it up: it’s always been a pleasure reading!! And yes, the months without your posts when looking after your newborn kids were hard…
. Googleling my name (yes I still used my full name in the beginning) has got me back to the 14th of september 2005 posting my first comment on your blog. That’s also the year I started getting into webdesign… so… snif…you’ve been a …slobber… cornerstone throughout my entire ….snif, snif… webdesign career …slobber, slobber… (getting a bit sentimental and corny
). No really, you’ve done a pretty good job.

Congratulations on your four year anniversary Robert! It’s been wonderful reading your posts over the years; I can’t remember when I wasn’t reading your blog.
Like RobertDM, I miss your writing while you’re away for family time and look forward to your return. I raise a toast to you for the next four years of “Robert’s talk”.

Thanks a lot, everybody, for your kind words and encouragement!
Remy, Harmen,
It will never happen. And in all honesty, it might not have mean that plausible, either, but still…
Michael,
It’s been some time, then.
Glad to have inspired you.
markus,
It’s a tough world.
RobertDM,
Ha ha, I’m glad to hear that! Long time, man!

Congratulations Robert!
I reached the four year mark a couple of weeks ago; during this time I’ve managed the rather shameful total of just twenty-three posts
But the very first person to leave a comment was… you!
Race you to the eight year mark?

Nick,
Ha ha! Fantastic!
And definitely, let’s go for 8 now!
