Today I turn 37 years old.
It’s a very special day your birthday, isn’t it? Time to reflect, to contemplate who you are, who you want to be and where you think you are heading in life. For me, the latest year has definitely had its ups and downs, and has without a doubt made me think about a lot of things.
Luckily, though, currently I’m quite happy and it feels like I’m on the path to becoming the person I’ve always wanted to be; that I’m starting to focus on, and accomplish, such things I want and should do. And to be woken up by your two lovely daughters singing for you and giving you presents: can life be any better?
Working for Mozilla you get your birthday off, since it’s your day – which means a full day with spending time with my family and close ones!
I just wanted to thank each and everyone for all your support in all kinds of forms and context – for reading what I write, listening to me, for your friendship, your time, your contributions into my life. Now I will turn off the computer and just enjoy my birthday!

Know you’ve got me wondering how Mozilla handles ‘leaplings’. People who were born on February 29th, like me, who only have their ‘real’ birthday every 4 years. Hopefully they get the 28th off in not-leapyears. Food for thought
